Welcome to the Colorado Springs Homeschool Support Group Web Site.
Our MissionThe CSHSG has always been about support every family's right to educate their children at home in Colorado, and to provide connection and support for those families.
Where We are TodayAs the homeschool landscape has changed over the years, the need for CSHSG's services has also changed. In the early days, we had 200 or more parents at every monthly meeting. We were the only support many families had for supplemental classes, field trips, etc.. Today, there are groups of homeschoolers brought together by common philosophies of education, world views, or other factors that provide the basic support that people need. The CSHSG now maintains a Yahoogoups email list to allow communication in the community. This is were we would announce our annual testing and any special events we are involved with. It is also a wonderful place to network, ask questions, and find pointers to other resources. The list is also where you will find up-to-date and accurate legislative information for Colorado.
